ADR Group is a construction business that has been trading since 1998. They specialize in project management, fitouts and refurbishments. With a number of their employees having over 35 years of experience and a number of driven project managers, they know how to efficiently complete any job that is given to them. To deliver accredited work, ADR Group strongly focus on communication between all parties of the building process to ensure prompt completion and delays are minimal.

The Problem

Primarily working with Government contracts, ADR group has been able to compete with larger construction companies through their years of experience. The years of experience on site also meant that employees were set in their ways about processes. This meant that data entry was done over multiple steps and multiple programs. Using multiple programs meant there was no room for error as it could throw out future data entry on a project.

The Change

Project Manager Ben thought it was time to change. Seeking to update systems and processes led to Ben finding Procore and its project management system. Using an accounting software that didn’t fit business needs with how Procore worked also led ADR group to migrate to Xero. Having these two key systems in place greatly improved quality of life for the whole business. The only thing missing was that both Procore and Xero didn’t work together well. This was until Procore recommended Interfy and its OneCore integration system, which would allow for data entered in to Procore to automatically transfer across to Xero.

The Solution

ADR groups accountants thought the change to Procore, and Xero was already great but the implementation of OneCore further enhanced business practice. OneCore has allowed ADR group to increase productivity by 30-40% throughout the whole business. Having an integration tool between Procore and Xero allowed for one time input of accounts payable and receivable, eliminating the risk of misaligning data between the two software. Furthering the enhancements of processes, all workers are now able to submit timesheets directly into Xero, saving time and multiple contact authorizations.

The implementation of OneCore along with Procore and Xero has greatly improved ADR’s business processes and is allowing them to further compete with larger construction businesses.
